PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- Nigel Williams-Goss has averaged 8.3 points and 22.7 minutes per game for Team USA as they are off to a dominant 3-0 start at the FIBA U-19 World Championship.
The incoming Huskies' freshman ranks second on the team with 3.0 assists per game and in minutes played. He is shooting 60% (9-of-15) from the field and also has grabbed 4.0 rebounds per game.
In the opening game versus the Ivory Coast on Thursday, Williams-Goss scored 7 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 2 assists as Team USA won 88-29. The American followed with a 56-point win over China, 113-57 on Friday and Williams-Goss scored 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and a team-high 25 minutes.
On Saturday, Team USA dominated Russia with a 68-point win, 115-47. Williams-Goss had 9 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
Team USA will play Brazil on Monday.
