SEATTLE- As summer hits full speed, Husky baseball players have been playing in various different baseball leagues across the country, looking for a new experience and a chance to improve their individual game.

Summer leagues such as the Northwoods League, the West Coast League, and the Cape Cod League are taking in a select number of our very own Huskies to play baseball in a new environment. Braden Bishop is playing for the Brewster Whitecaps, maintaining the Huskies long tradition of sending players to the Cape Cod League.. Teammates Austin Rei and Jack Meggs joined the La Crosse Loggers together, a part of the Northwoods League, while all others went their separate ways for a summer of baseball. Three Huskies- Matt Jackson, Josh Cushing and Brandon Choate- all are putting their skills on display in the West Coast League on three separate teams.
