SEATTLE - Washington's Trevor Mitsui was selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings 2014 West Regional first team as a designated hitter, while Tyler Davis was chosen as a second-team pitcher.

Mitsui, from Lynnwood, Wash., hit .328 during the season with five home runs and 32 RBI. He led the Huskies with 18 multi-hit games and tied for the team lead with 9 multi-RBI games. The junior made starts in all 55 games -- 34 at designated hitter and 21 at first base -- and reached base safely in 51 of 55 games.

Mitsui began his professional career this week after being selected in the 30th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Davis was 11-2 with a 1.60 ERA this season. The junior from Mountain View, Calif. was the fourth-ever UW player with 11 wins and had the fifth-lowest ERA in UW single-season history. He was an All-Pac-12 selection, Golden Spikes Semifinalist, Gregg Olson Breakout Player of the Year finalist and on the Dick Howser Award watch list.
