DALLAS - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association announced its All-America teams and Washington junior Tyler Davis earned third team recognition.

Davis, a right-handed pitcher from Mountain View, Calif., was 11-2 with a 1.60 ERA in 2014. In 17 games, 15 starts, he pitched 106 2/3 innings, giving up 88 hits and 19 earned runs. He ranked third among Pac-12 pitchers in ERA, tied for second in wins, fifth in innings pitched and tied for third allowing only 15 walks. Davis went eight-plus innings in each of his last five starts.

He was All-Pac-12, a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award, a Dick Howser watch list member and is a finalist for the Gregg Olson Breakout Player of the Year.
