SEATTLE - After taking two of three games against nationally ranked Oregon this past week, the Washington Husky baseball team has moved up in the national polls this week.

The Pac-12 leading Huskies (22-6-1, 10-2) have cracked the top-10 in two polls, jumping three spots in Collegiate Baseball from 11th to eighth and moving up five spots from 14th to ninth in the Baseball America rankings.

Ninth is the second-highest the Huskies have ever been ranked in the Baseball America's poll. In 2005, UW was pre-season No. 8 and remained there in the first weekly poll Feb. 7 of that year.

Washington made its biggest move in the Perfect Game rankings moving up six spots from 18th to 12th.

In the USA Today/Coaches' Poll, Washington moved up to 17th from 22nd and in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) from 24th to 20th.

The Huskies take on Seattle U Tuesday 6:00 p.m. at Bannerwood Field in Bellevue before resuming Pac-12 action Friday-Sunday at Husky Ballpark.
