SEATTLE - The rest of the nation is catching up to what Husky Baseball fans already know: This team is pretty good.

After appearing in only Collegiate Baseball News' rankings at 19th last week, Washington is unanimously ranked in every major college baseball polls.

The Huskies’ made their biggest move in the Baseball America poll. They made the highest jump of all previous unranked teams debuting at No. 14. The Huskies have not been ranked by BA since May 1, 2006, and haven't been ranked this high since reaching No. 12 on Feb. 14, 2005.

Collegiate Baseball has the Huskies ranked 11th this week – a jump of eight spots from last week.

Washington made its season debuts in the Perfect Game College Top 25 at 18th, USA Today Coaches Poll at 22nd and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association  (NCBWA) at 24th.

The Huskies are first in the Pac-12 Conference with an 8-1 record and have a two-game lead over UCLA, Oregon State and their opponent this weekend, Oregon. Washington has a 10-game win streak and is 17-1 over the last 18 games.
