SEATTLE – The 11th-ranked Washington Huskies will wrap up the 2014 regular season home schedule with a three-game Pac-12 series against No. 9 Arizona, beginning Friday.

The series opens with a 7:00 p.m. matchup on Friday night, followed by game two on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The series concludes Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

Anne Marie Anderson and Tammy Blackburn will have the call of each game on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Huskies (28-12) took two out of three games from Arizona (39-9) last year in Tucson, Ariz.

The weekend will feature four special events for Huskies fans. On Saturday, the Huskies will honor former Huskies pitcher Danielle Lawrie by retiring her jersey in a pre-game ceremony beginning around 6:45 p.m. On Sunday before the game, the Huskies will salute their fans with a free Fan Fest from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m., including a bounce-house slide, raffles, prizes, pitching lanes, face painting, and more.

Following the game on Sunday, the Huskies will recognize their seven seniors – Marki Creger-Zier, Hooch Fagaly, Victoria Hayward, Kaitlin Inglesby, Whitney Jones, Bryana Walker, and Mercedes Wetmore – with Senior Day festivities.

In recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness Month and “Go Gray in May”, the Huskies will have a very special guest throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday. Hannah Dehut, a 13-year old from Graham, Washington, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June of 2011. This past November in a partnership with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, the Huskies were honored to welcome Hannah into its family. Hannah has joined the Huskies at many practices and games, and even received her own locker in the team’s newly renovated locker room. The Huskies will be wearing grey jerseys to honor Hannah and the ongoing efforts of the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
