SEATTLE - For the fourth race in a row, junior Liberty Miller lowered her career-best time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. This time, it came in the semifinals of the U.S. Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, as Miller finished 20th overall in her first appearance at the meet.
Held at Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium, USA Outdoors got rolling today and will continue through Sunday. Also competing today was Pac-12 Champion Derrick Daigre in the 800-meters first round. Daigre took seventh in his heat and finished 23rd overall in a time of 1:50.14.

Two Husky alumni are scheduled to compete over the weekend, as Brad Walker competes in the pole vault and Katie Mackey is entered in both the 1,500-meters and 5,000-meters.
