SEATTLE -- The Washington soccer programs were proud to host the Panamanian National Team for a training session on Monday. The Central American nation is in Seattle to play the United States in a World Cup Qualifying match on Tuesday at Century Link Stadium.

The Panamanians were looking for a top quality facility to train for a final time before taking on Team USA on in the all-important World Cup qualifier.

Panama went through a normal training session, allowing some Washington coaches and staff to watch, before asking everyone to leave as it practiced set pieces. The Panamanian coaches then invited the Washington coaches back for the end of the session, presenting them with a banner to commemorate the occasion.

Panama's head coach Julio Dely Valdés thanked the Husky coaches after the training session through a translator.

Panama is currently in fourth place with six points in the CONCACAF qualifying group with the United States tied for first with seven points. Both teams are in good position to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with strong finishes to qualifying.
