SEATTLE -- Washington women's soccer continues with preseason as the opener on August 22 is just over a week away. Before the Dawgs welcome Kentucky to the Husky Soccer Field, they continued with training on Thursday and offered some insight on preseason so far.
Freshman Dominique Bond-Flasza saw time at right back during Thursday's 11 v 11 scrimmage. She combined well with fellow freshman Kimberly Keever along the right side, helping their team to the win. The Laguna Nigel, Calif., native appears to have made the smooth transition to college soccer and the Pacific Northwest.
Providing a veteran presence in the middle of the field, Christina Archer played a holding midfield spot during the scrimmage. She is in her final season at UW and taking on more of a leadership role.
