Washington senior center Mike Criste has been named to the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy, awarded each year to the nation's top college center.

Criste, from Mission Viejo, Calif., started all 13 games at center last season for the Huskies, earning honorable mention All-Pac-12, and has 20 career starts on the offensive line, having also played tackle and guard during the 2012 season.

Three other Huskies earned watch list mention the day before as Shaq Thompson made the list for the Paul Hornung (most versatile player) and Bednarik (top defensive player) Awards. He was joined on the Bednarik list by outside linebacker Hau'oli Kikaha and defensive lineman Danny Shelton.
