WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Washington women's golf was well represented on the Pac-12 All-Academic teams as announced by the conference offices on Thursday. Ying Luo led the Huskies, being named to the first team.

Luo carries a 3.96 grade-point average as an Arts and Science pre-major. She was a key player for the Dawgs who were ranked in the top-10 all season and advanced to the NCAA Championships where they finished 17th.

Earning second team honors was Jennifer Yang. Yang is also an Arts and Science pre-major and carries a 3.52 GPA. She is coming off an oustanding junior season that included six top-10 finishes.

Also honored by the Pac-12 as All-Academic honorable mention was Charlotte Thomas. Thomas had four top-10's for the Dawgs this year and will compete at the Curtis Cup next week for her native Great Britain.
