SEATTLE - Washington’s four incoming freshman still won’t be on campus for a few months, but already the group has earned some recognition, as the Husky recruiting class was ranked fifth in the country by, the top volleyball recruiting site online.

The highly-touted group of Huskies includes outside hitters Courtney Schwan (Milton, Wash.) and Tia Scambray (Dana Point, Calif.), middle blocker Crissy Jones (Los Alamitos, Calif.), and defensive specialist Reni Meyer-Whalley (Los Angeles, Calif.) The three hitters were all ranked in the top-20 of the Senior Aces list on the same PrepVolleyball site, while Meyer-Whalley has also earned All-American and All-CIF honors in her career.
