SEATTLE -- Washington women's soccer is handing the reigns of their twitter account over to senior Kate Bennett on Friday morning from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., PT. It will be a chance for the fans to get an exclusive look inside the Huskies program.
Fans are encouraged to tweet @UW_WSoccer and include the hashtag #AskKB30.
Bennett was the Huskies leading scorer a year ago and returns next fall to finish off her eligibility in her redshirt senior year. After attending California for two years, the Bellevue, Wash., native returned to her home state in 2012. After a Pac-12 mandated year of sitting out, Bennett was a mainstay in Dawgs lineup, scoring four goals and adding an assist.
Bennett does not have her own twitter account, so will be using the social media tool for the first time. She'll offer a unique perspective on what it means to play soccer for the Dawgs.
