SEATTLE – Washington women’s basketball has a big weekend in front of them, hosting Oregon and Oregon State for the final home conference games of the season. The Dawgs will be celebrating Alumni Weekend with special events for Friday’s 6 p.m. game with the Ducks and Sunday’s 2 p.m. game with the Beavers.

Friday versus Oregon, fans are encouraged to wear black as the Dawgs try to “Black Out” the Ducks. The first 100 fans will receive free “Black Out” t-shirts as Washington looks to defeat its rival to the South. Following the game, Husky players will sign autographs on the floor for fans. It will be the last chance for Husky fans to get player autographs due to the senior celebration after Sunday’s game.

Friday is also Dawg Pack Appreciation Night. Students are encouraged to wear black and arrive early as the first 50 students in attendance will receive a concession voucher and a limited edition Husky Women's Basketball "Black Out" t-shirt.

Sunday will be a double-feature with former Husky Letterwinners taking part in the Alumni Game preceding the 2 p.m. tip with Oregon State. Fans will be allowed in the arena at 10:45 a.m. to watch the alumni game that begins at 11 a.m. To attend the alumni game, fans need a ticket to the UW game with Oregon State. Immediately following Sunday’s game, the Dawgs will have an on-court celebration for seniors Mercedes Wetmore and Kassia Fortier. All Western Washington Girl Scouts 8th grade and under will receive free general admission by wearing their Girl Scout apparel for this game as well.

Also, don’t forget that despite this being the last weekend of the regular season at home for the Dawgs, there is plenty of NCAA women’s basketball left this season in Seattle. The Pac-12 Tournament is coming to KeyArena for the second-straight year. Get your tickets to the March 6-9 event that guarantees at least one Husky game HERE.

In addition, Washington is hosting the First & Second Rounds of the NCAA 2014 Basketball Championship at Alaska Airlines Arena on March 23 & 25. If the Dawgs make the NCAA’s, they are guaranteed to play in Seattle. Make sure to purchase tickets today and reserve your seat to some of the best college basketball in the country HERE.

For more information on any of these great events, contact the Husky Ticket Office M - F 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at (206) 543-2200.
