UW Heads To Arizona For Pac-12/Big Ten Tourney

SEATTLE - The Washington baseball team travels to Surprise, Ariz. for the second week of the season to participate in the Aramark Pac-12/Big Ten tournament. The Huskies (2-1-1) will play weekend games against three teams from the Big Ten Conference, followed by a non-conference game on Monday against Oregon State, who is also representing the Pac-12 as part of the tournament along with Utah.

Washington will open the weekend on Friday against 10th-ranked Indiana (1-3) at 6 p.m. PT at Surprise Stadium. They will come back on Saturday night and face Nebraska (2-2) at 6 p.m. PT at Surprise Stadium. The final game of the tournament comes on Sunday at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. vs. Michigan State (2-1) . UW wraps up the trip on Monday with a 10 a.m. PT game vs. the second-ranked Beavers.

UW vs. Indiana:  The two teams have never met.
UW vs. Nebraska History: Nebraska leads the all-time series 5-3. The teams last played in 2011, with Nebraska winning that game 10-3. UW's last wins over the Cornhuskers came in 1997.
UW vs. Michigan State History: The only time the two teams met was 1992 when the split a pair of games; MSU winning the first game 13-12, UW winning 12-7 in the other game.
