SEATTLE – Washington, Wisconsin, Texas, and Penn State are the final four teams standing in the 2013 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships, and will arrive at KeyArena to conclude the national title chase this week as Seattle hosts its first Final Four in volleyball.
On Thursday, Dec. 19, top-seeded Texas and No. 12-seed Wisconsin play at 4:30 p.m. PST, followed by No. 2 Penn State against No. 3 Washington at 6:30 p.m. The winners then meet on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. to decide the championship.
Fans can get a first look at the teams on Wednesday, as all four squads will be at KeyArena for 90-minute practice sessions that are open to the public. The teams will also hold media interview sessions throughout the day. Specific event times are listed below.
The Huskies, making their fourth Final Four appearance and first since 2006, will have their press conference at 2:15 p.m. and have the last practice of the afternoon on Wednesday, from 2:55 – 4:25.
