The Pac-12 Networks announced its 2014 television schedule for baseball and the Huskies are slated to appear at least 11 times on the network.
Eight home games and three road contests will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks throughout the season. All three games of the Oregon homestand (April 4-6) will be televised, marking the season debut of Husky Baseball on the network. It will also be the first look at new Husky Ballpark for a national audience.
The second game of the Stanford series and the finale, April 12 and 13, will be televised live from Seattle, and the entire three-game series against Washington State, April 25-27, will be broadcast.
The lone series away from Seattle that is scheduled to be televised is the Huskies final road trip of the year at Oregon State (May 16-18).
The network also reserves the right to pick up the Huskies' final homestand of the season when defending NCAA Champion UCLA heads to Seattle, May 23-25.
Washington opens the season Friday, Feb. 14 with a double header against Air Force and Michigan at the Texas State Tournament in San Marcos, Texas. The Huskies first homestand is Feb. 28 through March 2 when Washington hosts UC Davis for four games at Tacoma's Cheney Stadium.
The opening date for Husky Ballpark is Friday, March 21 against Arizona. For a look at the progress of Husky Ballpark, click the following: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153582673410057.1073741833.130906130056&type=1
