DALLAS -- Washington junior Bishop Sankey was one of 10 players named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the nation's top college running back.
Sankey heads into Friday night's game at UCLA as the nation's No. 3 rusher, with 1,305 yards this season. He's also 14th in the nation in scoring and fifth in rushing touchdowns, with 13.
The Doak Walker Award will announce three finalists on Nov. 25 and the winner will be unveiled at the Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 12, live on ESPN.
