C'mon In: Students Get Own Entrance, a Path of the Pack
UW students filing into new Husky Stadium for home games will have an easy, exclusive way in.
Just follow the gold.
Two bronze stripes line the pavement at the stadium's new west entrance facing Montlake Boulevard, between the new football operations building’s lobby and a neighboring board room. The “Path of the Pack” is the new student entrance directly into the UW student section that is behind the west end zone immediately below the football operations center. The new section is larger than the one students had in the previous Husky Stadium.
The “Path of the Pack” is part of the new stadium’s customization to students. So is the Dawg Pack advisory group, which help UW select concessions to be sold in the new stadium.
As they enter the stadium and begin their trek along the “Path,” students will have opportunity to establish a new game-day tradition: touching the Husky statue, which has been relocated from the plaza between the stadium and Alaska Airlines Arena.
Students can contact the Husky Ticket Office at (206) 543-2200 to buy tickets in the new stadium -- for less than the cost of a student season ticket in the previous Husky Stadium two seasons ago.
