Kwon Maintains Lead In Canadian Jr. Championship

SUNDBURY, Ont. -- Incoming UW freshman Kevin Kwon maintains a two-stroke lead after Wednesday's second round of the Canadian Junior Boys Championship at Timberwolf Golf Club in Sudbury, Ont.

Kwon shot 74 at the par-72 course today. A day after converting nine birdies, Kwon only managed two and also had four bogeys. Coupled with an 8-under 64 on Tuesday, he has a two-day total of 138 (-6).

He leads Andrew Harrison, who shot 3-under 69 to climb the leaderboard and move two strokes behind Kwon.
Only 10 golfers out of the 76  that made the cut are under par.

The third round continues on Thursday, followed by the fourth and final round on Friday.

Meanwhile, Trevor Simsby missed the cut at the Western Amateur Championship in Roland, Ark. on Wednesday. He shot 77 in the second round at The Alotian Club to finish with a two-day score of 151 (+5).
