Washington's Keith Price and Bishop Sankey both earned a spot on the 50-man watch list for the Walter Camp Award, presented annually to the nation's top college football player.

Both had previously been named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award while Price was on the O'Brien Award (QBs) watch list and Sankey made the grade for the Doak Walker Award (RBs) list.

Price, a senior from Compton, Calif., enters his third season as the UW's starting quarterback with 5,953 career passing yards, the fourth-highest total in school history. Price has 54 career touchdown passes, just one shy of the school record (55, Cody Pickett). His 524 career completions rank third and his 831 attempts are fourth-most.

Sankey, a sophomore tailback from Spokane, Wash., rushed for 1,439 yards last season, his first as the UW starter. Those 1,439 yards were third-most in Husky history while his 16 rushing touchdowns were second-most.

The list for the Camp Award will be narrowed to 10 players in mid-November and awarded on Dec. 12.

The Huskies open the 2013 football season at newly-renovated Husky Stadium Aug. 31 vs. Boise State.
