Husky Softball Stadium
|Built: 1994 | Locker Room renovated: 2014 | Capacity: 1,500|
|One of the finest facilities in the country, Husky Softball Stadium is located just east of the Husky Football Stadium and boasts one of the most spectacular views in the country, looking out over Lake Washington and toward majestic Mt. Rainier.|
After its renovation in 2014, the Huskies locker room is now 600 square feet, featuring an open layout and individual player lockers lining two of the walls. Each locker includes personalized photos and nameplates for each player, as well as personal storage cabinets with keypad entry and electrical outlets. At the center of the room, a giant “W” is stitched into the carpet, and large photos on the other walls show highlights of recent years.
|Husky Softball Stadium houses the locker room of the 2009 National Champions and the 1996, 2000 and 2010 Pac-10 Champions, and was the site of the 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2007 and 2013 NCAA regional tournaments that Washington won to advance to the College World Series.|
|The spectator attendance at Husky Softball Stadium ranks among the top in the nation based in part on the excellent amenities offered to fans including concession stands, restroom, stadium seating close to the action and handicapped accessibility. The crowd sometimes outgrows even the 1,500-seat facility, but fans are glad to watch from the concourses of Husky Football Stadium.|
