Husky Ballpark

Renovated: 2014 | Capacity: 2,200

With views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier, the home of the University of Washington baseball team boasts one of the most beautiful settings in college baseball.

Husky Ballpark opened in 1998 and recently underwent a major renovation in 2014. The latest renovation included a new Team Performance Center, an enhanced scoreboard, new field turf, press box and media area, full compliment of public restrooms and concessions, Husky Authentic Official Team Store, a permanent entrance and a grass berm for students and families.
Located on the shore of Lake Washington's Union Bay, home run balls frequently splash down into the lake water.
Each spring and summer, the facility hosts hundreds of games involving youth, high school, semi-pro and recreational teams in addition to all UW baseball competitions.
The Huskies also call Safeco Field, the stomping grounds of the Seattle Mariners, home.
The Dawgs have played at "The Safe" at least once in each of the last five seasons.
