Sarkisian Gives Condolences, Announces Free Ticket Offer

At his weekly press conference today, University of Washington football coach Steve Sarkisian announced that all police, military and fire department personnel are invited to attend the Husky football game against Cal this weekend free of charge.

The first-year Husky coach opened his press conference with condolences to the families of the four Lakewood police officers who were killed early Sunday morning at a Parkland coffee shop.

Those who qualify can receive up to four (4) complementary tickets to the game by showing applicable identification. Tickets must be picked-up in person either during the week at the Husky Ticket Office or at the Bank of America Arena ticket windows on game day.

The Huskies host the University of California Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Husky Stadium. The game marks the final regular-season contest of the year for both teams and the last game for 15 Washington Husky seniors.

Contact the Husky Ticket Office at (206) 543-2200 for more information.

My heart goes out to the family members of the Lakewood officers - no one should have to experience such tragedies. Nice win last week over the Cougs (365 days to rub it in my friends faces) and offering free tickets is a nice gesture to service men and women.

LOVE IT! WAY TO GO SARK
