2013 (Senior):
Pinch hit vs. Brown and hit a triple, an RBI and scored a run ... got her first hit of the season vs. Illinois ... made her 2013 debut as a pinch hitter vs. Notre Dame ... pinch hit against UC Riverside and drew a walk.

2012 (Junior): In her first year after transferring from Riverside Community College, made 17 appearances and started seven games ... hit .316 in 19 at bats with a .391 OBP ... had two of her six hits in a 6-4 Husky win on the road against Pacific (3/4) to go along with an RBI and a run scored ... did not make an error all season.

Riverside CC:
Sophomore: Started 44 games and batted .343 ... tied for first in doubles (14), third in at-bats (134), tied for second in RBI (27) and second in base hits (46) ... First-Team All-Conference, All-Southern California Team ... made Dean's list in Spring of 2011 ... part of softball's first ever Orange Empire Conference Championship.

Freshman: Started 42 games and batted .278 ... second on the team in doubles (10), fourth in at-bats (126), fourth in RBI (26) and tied for fifth in base hits with 35 ... made Dean's list both Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.

High School/Club:
Attended Paloma Valley High School in Menifee, Calif. ... two-time PVHS Best Defensive player 2006, 2008 ... three time First-Team All-Sunbelt League ... 2008 All-Riverside County Honorable Mention ... 2008 First-Team All-Valley Selection ... 2008 First-Team All CIF-Southern Section Division III Selection ... named best defensive player in 2006 and 2008 ... U.S. Marine Corps "Female Athlete of the Year" in 2008 ... also played three years of varsity basketball ... played softball for the Corona Xpress Gold club team.

Lindsay Renee Monk was born Sept. 18, 1990 in Harbor City ... parents are Dave Monk and Tori Parker ... has two brothers, Shawn and Chad Monk ... was also recruited by the University of Mary, Eastern Arizona College and Central Arizona College ... list hobbies as hanging out with family and friends and going to the beach ... lists favorite athlete as Derek Fisher ... most admires her mom because, "She has stood by me every step of the way. From elementary school to college, my mom has shown me unconditional love and support" ... chose UW because, "It's a great school academically and I have been given the opportunity to play at a top notch school."
