Conference Honors Four Husky Seniors, Perkins, Callahan

Four Husky seniors were chosen for the Pac-12 All Conference Rowing team while sophomore Alex Perkins was honored as the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year and head coach Michael Callahan received the Coach of the Year award for the fourth straight year.


No. 1 Husky Men Defend Pac-12 Title, No. 4 Women Take 3rd

The top-ranked Husky men win their 4th straight Pac-12 title and the No. 4 women medaled in all four races of the day to capture 3rd place.

Pulled the No. 7 oar for the Husky varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships ... rowed seven seat at the IRA Championships, helping the Huskies win a 15th National Championship.Named to the 2012 All Pac-12 Rowing Team.

2011 (Sophomore) - Competed in the Huskies varsity eight all season, including the team's National Championship effort on the Cooper River at IRAs ... Rowed seven seat in the varsity 8+ that captured a gold medal at the Pac-10 Championships ... No. 7 man in the UW varsity 8+ that defeated Cambridge (UK) and Stanford at the 25th Windermere Cup ...
