Jerry Nevin is in his second year at Washington as the director of football operations. He coordinates all administrative matters for the football staff including gameday operations and team travel. He also acts as an administrator for the two football camps held each summer at the University.
Nevin joined the Husky staff in 1999 after overseeing football operations at Colorado. He originally joined the Buffalo athletic staff as an administrative assistant to football coach Rick Neuheisel in 1996.
Nevin moved to Colorado in 1995 and worked in national sales for Bradley Petroleum before beginning his career in intercollegiate athletics. Nevin's previous business experience included a sales position in the medical biotechnology field for Coulter Electronics and the Pathology Institute, both located in northern California. He also spent time as a sales manager for the Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and the Doubletree Hotels in the San Francisco area.
Nevin graduated from UCLA in 1982 with a B.A. degree in political science and public administration. While attending UCLA, he first met Neuheisel, a fellow Sigma Nu fraternity brother.
He was born June 29, 1960 in Chicago and graduated from Saratoga (Calif.) High School in 1978, where he lettered in baseball and wrestling. He is married to the former Janneche Rohn and they have two daughters, Courtney (9) and Nicole (7).
