Washington: A three-year letterwinner on the offensive line ... one of six seniors on that unit ... will return for the 2000 campaign after considering passing up his final season of eligiblity due to problems from his long-time ankle injury ... figures as a backup to either Rock Nelson or Matt Rogers at the left tackle spot ... could be a starter, but his ankle injury limits his ability to be an every-down player ... his perserverance and determination to play as a senior serve as inspirational points for his teammates.

1999: Completed a remarkable comeback...split starting duties at left guard with Rock Nelson...started four of the last five games of the season when Nelson was sidelined by an injury...appeared in all 11 regular-season games...suffered severe ankle/foot injury as a freshman (1996) and was questionable to restart his career...presented the Earle Glant Tough Husky Award at annual team banquet...helped the Huskies to finish 21st in the nation and second in the Pac-10 in rushing with an average of 189.7 yards per game.

1998: Returned to Husky lineup after missing the 1997 season with a broken ankle ... appeared in all 11 games and the O'ahu Bowl ... backup to Chad Ward at strongside guard.

1997: Redshirted the season.

1996: One of seven true freshmen to see playing time ... played in eight games as a backup at offensive guard ... suffered broken foot in closing moments of the Oregon State game that ended his season ... did not play in season opener at Arizona State.

High School and Personal: Born Nov. 18, 1977 ... all-league and all-city selection at offensive guard at Damien in the Baseline Conference ... selected to the Tacoma News Tribune's "Western 100" team ... named to the All-California team by Cal-Hi Sports ... mother, Diane, is a caterer ... father, Maceo, is a dock worker ... has two older sisters, Kelly and Conchita ... majoring in geography.
