Washington: Status for the 2000 season is uncertain due to a sore back that kept him out of spring drills ... moved from tackle to guard last spring.

1999: Took over the starting left guard position...appeared in eight games, starting seven times...missed several games due to a neck stinger he suffered vs. Arizona State...helped the Huskies to finish 21st in the nation and second in the Pac-10 in rushing with an average of 189.7 yards per game.

1998: Backup to Aaron Dalan at strongside tackle ... earned his first letter ... appeared in all 11 games.

1997: Redshirted the season ... named the most improved offensive lineman at the conclusion of the 1998 spring practice.

High School and Personal: Born Sept. 2, 1978 ... a first-team All-Western Conference AAA South Division pick as a senior ... helped the Scots offense gain 1,600 rushing yards and pass for 1,100 yards in 1996 ... was a two-year starter at Seattle's Franklin High School before transferring to Shorecrest High School for his senior season ... nominated to play in the state all-star game ... lettered in track as a senior ... high school coach was Greg Tacon ... a sociology major.
