Washington: A three-time letterwinner ... returns as the starter at fullback ... proved to be a reliable short-yardage running back and solid blocker ... high school teammate of quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo ... will be counted on more often in short-yardage situations with the loss of senior Maurice Shaw to a back injury ... showed he can be a threat as a pass catcher after his four-reception, 57-yard performance against Kansas State in the Holiday Bowl ... will be back at full speed in the fall after missing most of the spring practice session with a concussion.

1999: Second-year starter at fullback...appeared in all 11 regular-season games and started in six contests...topped all running backs with 10 receptions...carried the ball in every game except for Air Force and California outing came against Oregon when he rushed for a career-high 37 yards...scored his only rushing TD of the regular season vs. the Ducks...recorded first TD catch vs. Oregon State ... had a tremendous game vs. Kansas State in the Holiday Bowl ... rushed four times for 15 yards including a three-yard TD carry ... caught the Wildcats' defense off guard by catching four passes for 57 yards, including a 23-yard reception.

1998: Strong fullback who missed six games because of a knee injury in the middle of the season ... returned for O'ahu Bowl ... carried the ball 18 times for 60 yards during the year ... scored only touchdown of the season in opener at Arizona State ... had season-high eight carries for 23 yards against Oregon State ... had two receptions for 36 yards ... named the winner of the Chuck Niemi Big Hit Award at annual team banquet ... rushed three times for nine yards in O'ahu Bowl.

1997: One of 10 true freshmen to play for Washington ... appeared in a total of seven games ... one of six true freshmen to letter in 1997 ... took over as UW's top fullback by midseason ... appeared in seven games ... accounted for five first downs on his 12 rushes ... rushed for a total of 28 yards ... top outing was 11-yard effort on five carries vs. California.

High School and Personal: Born Oct. 25, 1977 ... parents are Rick and Sally ... has two sisters, Stephanie and Meg ... father and grandfather played football at Army ... named to the All-Eastside and All-KingCo teams ... rushed for 1,266 yards and nine scores as a senior ... helped to lead Woodinville to KingCo championship ... also lettered in track in high school and was member of the 4x400 relay team that won the district championship ... high school coach was Terry Agnew ... majoring in sociology.
