Huskies Earn Some Hardware in San Diego

The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.

Husky Rowing Experience: 2013 (Sophomore) -Rowed four seat for the 2V8 that took home bronze at the Pac-12 Championships...Rowed six seat for the winning 2V8 that took home the Erickson Cascade Cup at the Windermere Cup Regatta..Rowed six seat for the winning Second V8 at the WSU Dual...Rowed five seat for the sophomore class in the Seattle Times' Women's Eight and rowed bow for one of the classless shells in the Women's Varsity/Novice Challenge..both at the Class Day Regatta...Rowed six seat for the 2V8 shell that placed third in the Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.(Freshman) - Rowed 5 seat for the Women's Novice eight that took 4th at Pac-12s.

Personal: Daughter of Rick and Susan Garlock. Father and Mother are both business owners. Has three sister, Nikki, Carli, and Sarah. Enjoys movies and concerts.
