The Huskies wrapped up the final day of the NCAA Championships with a 6th place finish overall, highlighted by a bronze medal by the varsity four.
The men's and women's varsity eight rowed to their seventh straight Windermere Cup victories in the best weather and biggest crowd Opening Day has seen in years.
With a race forced to be rescheduled to Friday the Huskies still manage to race well.
The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.
Over the last three plus years, senior Madison Culp has transformed from a solid rower to a world class athlete. And she's not done yet.
