Huskies Earn Some Hardware in San Diego

The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.

Husky Rowing Experience: 2013 (Sophomore) - Took home silver rowing four seat for the varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships... Rowedfour seat for the winning V8+ at the Windermere Cup Regatta...Rowed in the four seat for the V8+ that placed first and took home the Simpson Cup at the Cal Dual...Rowed two seat for the winning Varsity Eight at the WSU Dual...Rowed six seat for the women's senior class in the Seattle Times Women's Eight at the Class Day Regatta 2013...Rowed six seat for the V8 that took fifth in the Varsity Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
