1999 (Freshman): Rowed in the two seat in varsity four that won the NCAA Championship and helped Huskies to a third place team finish ... was in the four seat in novice eight boat that won a Pac-10 Championship and Windermere Cup title ... also won grand final at the San Diego Crew Classic ... spent summer '99 at the ARCO Olympic Training Center Freshman Camp.

Personal: Named to Dean's List as a freshman at UW.

I chose UW because: The rowing program and because my brother was here.
The best thing about Seattle is: It's a beautiful place to live.

My best race was: When we won at '99 NCAAs in Sacramento. All our hard work had paid off and my parents were there supporting me .
