Personal: Daughter of Kris and Bill Jensen ... mother is a desktop publisher... father is a crane operator ... younger sister Ashley (20) is a junior at Western Washington and plays on the women's soccer team.

I chose Washington because: Because it is close to home, a very large school, with a lot of people, which I love and I also love the city.
The best thing about Seattle is: The amount of people and also the amount of opportunities that are available.
The best thing about UW is: Just being a part of the Husky experience.
Favorite class: Social Work
My best race was: San Diego Classic 2003; We were behind the entire race until the last 250 meters, when we pulled ahead and won.
After I graduate, I plan to: Get a teaching degree in elementary education.
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: Take pride in every day that you get in a Washington boat, be ready to work hard, then be prepared to win.

Jensen says: "Hold the rope."
