Husky Rowing Experience: 2002 (Freshman)--Attended Northwest Development Camp in 2001 and 2002 ... Trained with the team, working out with the freshmen.
2003 (Sophomore)--Rowed bow for the Husky crew that won the varsity four title at the IRA Championships ... occupied the No. 2 seat for the Huskies' varsity four crew in dual wins over California and Oregon State and in a victory at the Windermere Cup ... collected a silver medal in the varsity four at the Pac-10 Championships.
Personal: Son of Michael and Pamela Fletcher ...mother and father are both attorneys who attended the University of California ... father was the commodore of the California rowing team in 1972 ... has an older brother, Mat (23) who attended Diablo Valley College.
I chose Washington because: It was Washington or Cal ... and that's a pretty easy choice.
