Husky Rowing Experience: 1999 (Freshman): Rowed in the six seat in the freshman eight ... finished fourth in IRA grand final ... second at Pac-10 Championships ... captured San Diego Crew Classic title ... also won Windermere Cup race ... 2000 (Sophomore): Rowed six seat in varsity eight that finished fourth at IRA Championships ... two seat on varsity eight at Pac-10 Championships when Huskies won a silver medal and on Opening Day when Huskies won 10th-straight Windermere Cup ... bow seat in San Diego when varsity eight finished second in Copley Cup. ... 2001 (Junior): Rowed three seat in varsity eight that won a bronze medal at IRAs ... two seat at Pac-10s when varsity eight won silver ... stroked varsity eight at Windermere Cup, Cal dual and San Diego Crew Classic.

My best race was: Opening Day, 2000. It's a pretty cool thing to be able to row in front of a crowd like that.

After I graduate, I plan to: Mountain or sea search and rescue.

If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: Don't take yourself too seriously.
