Husky Rowing Experience: 2002 (Freshman)--Rowed bow seat in the freshman eight that won a gold medal at IRAs ... member of crew that went undefeated all season ... helped lead Huskies to a gold medal at Pac-10's and the San Diego Crew Classic ... also contributed to victories at the Windermere Cup, California, Washington Sate and Oregon State duals.

Personal: Son of Art and Janet Kopicky ... mother attended UW and is a teacher ... father attended University of Colorado and is a minister ... has one older brother, Ryan (21) who is a junior at Seattle Pacific University and one younger brother, Eric (14).
