I chose Washington because: The awesome rowing program. My sister came as part of the New Zealand 8 that traveled to compete in the Windermere Cup in 1999. She encouraged me to go here!
The best thing about Seattle is: When the sun comes out.
The best thing about UW is: The amazing diversity in courses offered.
Favorite Class: I like them all.
My best race was: My first championship race when the boat was made up of all novices. We placed third beating many other experienced boats.
After I graduate, I plan to: Return home to New Zealand.
If I could tell my teammates one thing, it would be: Be ready for anything!
