I chose Washington because: Proximity to home and legendary rowing program.
The best thing about Seattle is: Dinners at the Soelling household.
My best race was: 2005 Windermere Cup because it was my first race in the Varsity-8 and we beat a strong Czech Republic crew and Cornell.
After I graduate, I plan to: Possibly row at Oxford, maybe National Team, maybe start a career.
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: Enjoy your time rowing because it won't last forever!
Petersen says: "Do the work, follow the program, and you will succeed."
