I chose Washington because: "Because the people rock, Seattle reminds me of home, and having a boat house on campus is simply fabulous!"
The best thing about Seattle is: "The water, it's everywhere!"
My best race was: "Opening Day last year, when we raced Florida and Russia. Racing Russia's National Team was a once in a lifetime experience, and beating Florida was sweet because they came here expecting an easy win and we gapped them."
After I graduate, I plan to: "Move to Tofino and travel around for a while before attending grad school."
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing it would be: "Work harder than you think you can and you'll achieve more than you'd imagined."
Unwin says: "UNITE!"
