A two-time prep All-American ... became the only class 4A athlete ever to sweep four-consecutive state titles in 2006 when she won her unprecedented fourth-straight shot put crown ... set a meet record in her 2006 win, tossing the shot 47-3 ... also captured two state discus titles ... ranks second in state history in the shot put with a best of 51-1 1/4, less than three inches shy of the state record of 52-4 ... finished her prep career with five of the 10-best shot put marks in state history ... career-best toss of 51-1 1/2 set a meet record at the 2006 Washington-Oregon Meet of Champions, and was the second-best by a U.S. prep last year ... ranked seventh among U.S. preps in 2005 ... one of just two girls ever to win three Meet of Champions titles, having captured shot put crowns in 2003, 2004 and 2006 ... as a freshman, tossed 41-8 to win first state shot put title after just three months' experience in the event, and having torn a ligament in her hand in the weeks prior to the state meet ... coached in high school by former Husky great Bill Stengele.
