Pac-10 mark of 12-11 1/2 was then second-best ever at UW, and among the top-10 ever by a Canadian woman ... won her UW debut at the WSU Dual ... set UW's fifth-best indoor mark all-time with a 12-0 at the Pac-10 Invite, barely 12 hours after scoring a perfect 10 on the floor exercise to help the UW gymnasts defeat Boise State ... scored another 10 to win a share of the Pac-10 title in the uneven bars ... earned second-team gymnastics All-America honors on the floor ... won two events at the NCAA West Regional Gymnastics meet, becoming the first UW gymnast to post even one such victory ... scored three perfect 10s ... ranked among the nation's top-10 in both bars and floor ... named gymnastics team MVP.
2001-02: Competed just once, unattached, at the Ken Foreman Invite ... with a borrowed pole and shoes, and just two weeks of practice, finished third with a mark of 12-1 1/2 that would have ranked fourth all-time at UW ... was named UW gymnastics' Rookie of the Year ... won the floor exercise against Utah with a UW freshman-record score of 9.975.
High School and Personal: Parents are Maureen and Neal ... has a younger brother, Brody, and two older siblings, Carrie and Dustin ... had never vaulted before her freshman year at UW ... as a gymnast, placed sixth in the all-around at the 1998 Canadian Nationals ... finished fourth in the all-around and third on the vault at the 1996 Junior Pan-American Games ... also competed in high school in volleyball, wrestling, rugby and soccer.
