Competed just once last season, but turned in the fourth-best javelin throw ever at Washington ... competed in multi-events before shifting focus towards javelin.

2006-07: Despite competing just once all season, her javelin throw of 143-8 at the Auburn Springtime Invite was the best on the team by 27 feet, and an NCAA Regional qualifying mark ... javelin throw was fourth-best ever at Washington ... did not compete indoors.

2005-06: Competed in the multi-events, focusing more attention on the javelin in the outdoor season ... tallied 3,213 points in first collegiate pentathlon at the UW Invitational ... also competed separately indoors in the 60m dash, long jump, and high jump ... scored 4,469 at the Cal Invite Multis in the heptathlon outdoors, one of only two Huskies to complete the event ... set new personal-best in the javelin with a throw 124-2 at the UW Outdoor Preview, which was second on the team ... placed second on the team in the long jump outdoors, with a best legal mark of 17-3 ¼ at the Cal Invite Multis ... best wind-aided jump of 17-9 ¾ at the Pepsi Invite.

2004-05: Redshirted the 2005 indoor and outdoor track seasons to preserve a year of eligibility ... competed unattached during both seasons ... placed sixth in first-career heptathlon at the Ken Foreman Invite, scoring 4,219 points ... unattached javelin best of 125-5 would have ranked fifth all-time (new implement) at Washington ... indoors, competed in the 60m dash, long jump and shot put.

High School and Personal: Parents are Monique and Jussi ... has three siblings, Mikko, Raija, and Hanna ... placed fifth in the heptathlon at the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2004 ... placed sixth at state in the long jump as a senior ... a three-time track team MVP, and captain of the squad in 2004 ... earned most inspirational honors her freshman and junior seasons ... also lettered in soccer all four years, and led Roosevelt to a second-place state finish in 2000.
