2000-01: Earned a return trip to the Pac-10 Championships in the 100m, finishing 10th with a mark of 12.03 seconds, the top legal mark of her UW career ... clocked a wind-aided 11.87 for 100m in a win at the Oregon Dual ... was also among the Husky leaders in the 200m, clocking a season-best 24.95 at the Oregon Dual that was just shy of UW's all-time top-10 ... in the long jump, achieved a best mark of 18-4 1/2, at the Cal Quad ... finished outside the top-five in an event just three times in 21 outdoor competitions ... indoors, achieved marks in the 55m and triple jump which each ranked among the school's 10 best-ever ... top sprint time of 7.18 seconds for 55m (converted to 7.62 for 60m) was the seventh-fastest indoors in UW history ... posted the 10th-best indoor triple jump mark, covering 37-3 3/4 ... placed sixth in the third in the 60m final at the MPSF Championships, in 7.71 seconds (7.75aa).

1999-2000: Competed in two events at the Pac-10 Championships as a freshman ... individually, took 13th in the 100m at the conference meet, in 12.08 ... also helped the 4x100m relay squad to a fifth-place conference finish ... was remarkably versatile, ranking among the UW's leaders in the 100m, 200m, long jump and triple jump ... led all Husky triple jumpers with a best of 36-2 1/4 ... indoors, became Washington's fifth-fastest female ever at 200m with a best mark of 25.27.

High School and Personal: Born Oct. 3, 1981 ... parents are Sharon Smith-Murray and James Smith ... known as Jamara Smith in her first two seasons at Washington, before recently marrying former Husky sprinter D'Andrae Alexander ... was a four-year letterwinner at James Logan in Oakland ... led James Logan to a third-place finish at the state championships her freshman year, anchoring the team's state-champion 4x100m relay squad ... took school to a sixth-place finish at state her junior season ... swept the 100m, 200m, long jump and triple jump events for Logan at the 1999 Mission Valley League Championships ... was named League MVP for her efforts ... also excelled in the classroom, graduating with a 3.7 GPA.
