2000 (cross country): Competed in two races for the UW squad, the Emerald City Invite and the Sundodger Invitational... Finished 17th at the Emerald City meet and 40th at the Sundodger... 1999-2000: On the track oval, competed in the 800- and 1500- meter events.... Ranked third among Husky half-milers with a best 800 time of 2:14.97... Was fifth on the team in the 1500m with a time of 4:50.02... Competed in two cross country races... Placed 26th at the Emerald City Invitational... Finished 57th at the Sundodger... 1998-99: Competed in the 800 and 1500 during the track season... Ranked fifth among UW 1500m runners with a best time of 4:42.60... Competed in three cross country meets... Recorded season-best 37th-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree... Also ran at the Sundodger Invitational and Michigan Interregional... High School: Attended Seattle’s Kings High School with Husky women’s basketball standout Heather Reichmann... A four-time team MVP, all-league and all-district selection... Helped team to the 1997 state track & field title as a senior after three consecutive runner-up finishes... Won the state cross country title as a junior and finished third as a freshman and seventh as a senior... At the state track meet, was sixth in the mile and seventh in the two-mile as a freshman... Won the state mile title as a sophomore... Placed second in the 1600 and third in the 800 as a junior... Ran a leg of the state champion 4x400 relay team during her senior season while also finishing as the runner-up in the 800, 1600 and 3200.
