Over Thirty Huskies Earn Pac-12 Academic Acclaim

Babcock and Mueller earn First Team honors for the second straight year.

2012: First full season of action in the horizontal jumps ... competed at four meets during the outdoor season, including the UW-WSU Dual meet, where she finished seventh in the triple jump and ninth in the long jump ... best triple jump was 36-11 at the JD Shotwell Invite ... competed three times indoors, posting a best mark of 36-1 ½ in the triple jump at the UW Invitational ... a Pac-12 All-Academic Team honorable mention.

2011: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons, competing several times unattached in the long and triple jumps ... best marks came at the UW Final Qualifier indoors, as she went 16-2 ½ in the long jump and 35-5 ¾ in the triple jump.

High School and Personal: Born in Seattle ... parents are Cindy and Willy Stiggelbout ... has one older brother, Zach, who attends UW, and one younger sister, Kira ... father is a Washington alumni ... KingCo runner-up in the long jump as a senior, with a personal-best jump of 16-11 ½ ... placed fourth at the district meet in the long jump in 2010 ... ran on all three relays as a senior and was team captain ... also lettered in soccer as a junior and senior and earned Coach's Award her senior year ... graduated with a 3.92 grade point average.
