2002-03: Earned third-straight top-15 finish at the Pac-10 Championships, taking 12th with a throw of 183-3 .... best throw of 201-6 earned eighth at the Oregon Invite ... also competed at Stanford, and in a dual meet vs. WSU. 2001-02: Led all Husky javelin throwers for the second-straight season ... took seventh in the event at the Pac-10 meet with a heave of 201-0 ... career-best effort of 209-5 earned second at the Oregon Pepsi Invitational ... overcame wet, snowy conditions to post a mark of 203-7 in victory at the Husky Classic ... won first two javelin competitions of the season, and never finished below seventh in the event all year. 2000-01: Was UW's top javelin competitor, qualifying for the Pac-10 meet ... earned 15th at the conference meet with a throw of 178-6 ... season-best throw of 208-8 came in a win at the Ohio Quad ... also bested the field at the UC Davis Quad and the Salzman Invitational ... had top-10 marks at every regular-season competition.

High School and Personal: Born May 10, 1982 ... parents are Leslie and Jim ... has one brother, Jesse ... earned All-State and All-American honors in 2000, captaining Colstrip to league, district and state titles ... set school records and won state titles in the javelin in 1999 and 2000 ... placed sixth in the javelin at the 2000 Foot Locker Nationals ... was voted team MVP as a senior ... only participated in two seasons of track ... also earned three letters each in football and baseball ... earned Academic All-State honors three years ... was listed in Who's Who in high school academics ... graduated with a 3.9 GPA.
