The 1998 Pac-10 champion in the 10,000 meters and a two-time NCAA Indoor track and field All-American. 1999-2000: Earned All-America Honors placing ninth in the 10,000 meter at the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships.. .Finished fourth in the 10K at the Pac-10 championships... Recorded career-best time of 16:28.30 in the 5,000 meters at the Drake Relays... Was the top Husky 5,000- and 10,000-meter runner... Ranked third among Husky 3,000-meter runners... Earned First-team All-Pac-10 academic team honors... During the cross country campaign, was runner-up at the season-opening Emerald City Invitational... Was the top Husky finisher, fifth overall, at the Pac-10 Championships... Placed eighth at the NCAA West Regional... Finished 97th at the NCAA Championships, helping the Huskies to a 13th-place team performance... A first-team All-Pac-10 academic cross country selection... 1998-99: Finished 12th in the 5,000-meter race (16:33.51) at the NCAA Indoor Track championships... Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor championships, where she placed 17th in the 10,000m (35:42.65)... During cross country season, placed 12th at the Pac-10 meet and 17th in the West Regional race... Helped the Huskies to a 14th-place finish at the NCAA meet with an 88th-place performance... Garnered honorable mention All-Pac-10 academic cross country team acclaim... 1996-97: The lone UW women’s qualifier for the NCAA Indoor Track championships, placing 13th in the 5,000-meter event... Competed early during the outdoor track season, clocking a team-leading 35:11.46 in the 10,000 meters to reach the NCAA provisional qualifying standard... An injury sidelined her the rest of the season and she did not compete at the NCAAs... In cross country, placed 18th at the Pac-10 meet and 26th in the West Regional race... High School: Holds Fort Vancouver HS records for the 3,200-, 3,000-, 1,600- and 1,500-meter events... Finished second at the Washington state Class 3A track meet in the 3,200m her junior and senior years and also third place in the 1,600m both years... Placed fifth at the state cross country meet in 1996... Was all-league for four years in both track and cross country... Was MVP of the track team three years and of the cross country team four years... Graduated with a 3.98 GPA.
